The firm was founded by Paul Xiradis and Reubert Hayes in 1997 as a joint venture between the founding investors and Dexia Asset Management. The firm was formerly known as Ausbil Dexia Ltd. and changed their name to Ausbil Investment Management Ltd. when they were acquired by NYLIC in 2014. Headquartered in Sydney, Ausbil primarily manages Australian and global equities for superannuation funds, institutional investors, master trusts and Australian retail clients.
