Jason Forssman

Mr. Jason Forssman, CFA, is a Head of Equity & Multi Asset Fund Management at Ashburton Fund Managers (Pty) Ltd.
He has acquired an in-depth knowledge of the global and domestic macroeconomic environment and the South African financial services industry.
Prior to joining the firm in December 2014, he was the Managing Director of WWC Securities, a South African Stock Broking business.
He was also the Managing Director of WWC Alternative Investments, whose principle focus was managing a multi strategy market neutral hedge fund.
Prior to joining WWC, Mr. Forssman was the Head of Arbitrage and Proprietary Equity Trading at Gensec LTD, then one of the top 20 listed companies in South Africa before being acquired by Sanlam.
He started his career at Societe Generale in 1997 and has over 19 years of experience.
He holds a BCom LLB degree from the Stellenbosch University.
He is a member of the CFA institute and a CFA charter holder.
