Profit Investment Management LLC (dba Profit Investments) is an independent registered investment advisor and mutual fund manager headquartered in Rockville, Maryland. The firm was founded by Eugene A. Profit in 1996 as Investor Resources Group LLC. Profit Investments manages large-cap, small-cap and socially responsible portfolios for institutional clients. All products are also available for separate accounts. Large-cap is their flagship product that was introduced in 1996.

Founded in 1989, FBR Capital Markets & Co., formerly Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co., is a broker/dealer headquartered in Arlington, Virginia with additional offices throughout the US. The firm is a subsidiary of FBR Capital Markets Holdings, Inc.. and their ultimate parent is FBR & Co. (NASDAQ: FBRC).
