Jeffrey Neal Malbasa

Mr. Jeffrey N.
Malbasa, CFA MBA, is President & Chief Operating Officer at Spero-Smith Investment Advisers, Inc. He oversees the delivery of the company’s financial planning, wealth management, and investment strategy consulting services, and develops and implements the company’s strategic initiatives.
Mr. Malbasa plays a central role in investment decision-making regarding investment portfolios for individual investors, institutional investors, and business owners who are Spero-Smith clients.
He joined Spero-Smith in 2003 as a Portfolio Manager.
In July 2014, he was elected to the Board of Directors for the Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland.
He serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of Community Housing.
He also provides leadership and expertise for the United Way Pension Committee, the Tufts University Alumni Association, the University School Alumni Association, and the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead Alumni Advisory Council.
Mr. Malbasa earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Banking from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and History.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute.
