Prior to joining Cherokee in 2004, Mr. Aardema was a Vice President of EnCap Golf, LLC, where he was responsible for the transfer and redevelopment of environmentally impaired properties.
He has been involved in the environmental restoration industry as a professional consultant and brownfield developer for over twenty years.
Mr. Aardema has been an invited speaker at national, state, and local conferences on recreational brownfield redevelopment and has consulted on brownfield projects across the United States.
Mr. Aardema earned a BS from Hope College and a MS in Geology/Hydrogeology from the University of Florida.
