Ireland, CFA, is a Founder & Chief Executive Officer at JEI Investment Management LLC.
He bought his first stock, Starbucks, at age fifteen.
Over the years, he has successfully developed a disciplined framework for investing in stocks that exhibit strong free cash flow growth but trade at a discount to their fundamental value, a methodology he calls free cash flow growth at a reasonable price (FCF GARP).
He is applying this approach in managing funds on behalf of JEI Investment Management.
He worked at RBC Capital Markets in Los Angeles, where he wrote a daily investment letter and served institutional clients.
Previously, Joe worked at Citigroup Corporate and Investment Banking, Wachovia Securities and Stifel, Nicolaus and Company.
He received a B.S.
in Business Administration and a B.A.
in Philosophy from the University of Southern California.
