John R. Klopp

Mr. John R.
Klopp is Co-Chief Executive & Investment Officer at Morgan Stanley Real Estate.
He joined Morgan Stanley Real Estate in February 2010.
From 1997 to 2009, Mr. Klopp was the Chief Executive Officer of Capital Trust, Inc. Prior to this, he was the founder and Managing Partner of Victor Capital Group, L.P.
from 1989 until 1997.
He had previously served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Chemical Realty Corporation, the real estate merchant banking arm of Chemical Bank.
Mr. Klopp received a BA in economics from Tufts University and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
