Kristin A. DePlatchett

KRISTIN DEPLATCHETT is a Partner and Head of Investor Relations at Trilantic North America.
Her primary focus is on the firm’s fundraising and investor relations efforts.
Kristin is a member of Trilantic North America’s ESG committee which helps to develop and implement the firm’s ESG policies.
Before joining Trilantic North America, Kristin founded and was the Managing Partner of Kraken Capital LLC which advised institutional investors on private market portfolio construction and provided bespoke consulting services to private market firms.
Prior to forming Kraken, Kristin was a Managing Director at StepStone Group LP (Nasdaq: STEP), a global private markets firm providing customized investment, portfolio monitoring, and advice to investors.
Prior to StepStone, Kristin served on the investment team at Fort Washington Capital Partners Group, a Cincinnati-based fund-of-funds.
Kristin graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where she received a B.A.
in Economics with a Business Administration minor.
Kristin played on the women’s soccer team at UNC, winning two NCAA National Championship titles and was subsequently drafted to play professional soccer for the Atlanta Beat of the Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA).
