Mr. Matthew J.
Carter, CFA MBA, is a Managing Partner at Ironwood Investment Counsel LLC.
In 2005, he joined Ironwood Investment Counsel.
He has over 20 years of experience in investment management and consulting and wealth management.
Mr. Carter began his career at Arthur Anderson, LLP, where he served as a manager in the Private Client Services Division.
While serving in that capacity, he developed and implemented investment and wealth management strategies for high net worth individuals, business owners, and corporate executives.
In 2002, he joined Inlign Wealth Management, LLC, as the Director of Investments where he worked with high net worth individuals and investment committees.
He was also responsible for firm investment policies, separate account manager due diligence and performance measurement.
Mr. Carter received a Masters of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University.
He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Arizona.
He was awarded the Certified Financial Planner certification in 2005 and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2011.
He is a member of CFA Institute and the Phoenix CFA Society.
