Prior to joining OTD, Meghan earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University where she was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow.
She worked in David Kaplan’s lab where her research focused on characterization and chemical modifications of silk protein-based materials for biomedical applications.
While at Tufts Meghan interned at the Office for Technology Transfer and Industry Collaboration, evaluating technologies for patentability and commercial potential.
Prior to graduate school Meghan worked at Arsenal Medical, an early-stage medical device company developing therapeutic in-situ forming biomaterials.
Meghan earned her B.S.
in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University.
