Michael J. McDonough

Mr. McDonough was raised in St. Louis, Missouri.
He is a graduate of Stanford's Graduate School of Business (M.B.A., 2003), Stanford's Graduate School of Engineering (M.S.E., 2003) and Cornell University (A.B., Ancient Greek, Latin, Economics, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 1996).
After graduation from Cornell, Mr. McDonough entered the financial analyst program at J.P.
Morgan Securities Corporation in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group.
In 1998, Mr. McDonough left J.P.
Morgan to join Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he served as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Investment Banking Division.
While at DLJ, Mr. McDonough divided his time between leveraged buyout, recapitalization, valuation, and merger analyses, and analyzing investment opportunities for DLJ Merchant Banking Partners II and DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners.
In 1999, Mr. McDonough joined J.W.
Childs Associates, L.P.
(a leveraged buyout concern with $3.4 billion under management) as an Analyst and later as an Associate, where he sourced, analyzed, monitored, and harvested private equity investments.
During the summer of 2002, Mr. McDonough interned with Morgan Stanley's Special Situations Group (proprietary research and trading) in London and New York.
