Mylonas is a Chief Executive Officer, Executive Board Member & Chair of the Senior Executive Committee at National Bank of Greece SA, a Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director at National Bank of Greece SA and a Non-Executive Chairman at National Bank of Greece (Cyprus) Ltd. He is on the Board of Directors at National Bank of Greece SA, National Bank of Greece SA, Nbg Cyprus Ltd., NBG GP Ltd., NBG International Ltd., United Bulgarian Bank AD, The Ethniki Hellenic General Insurance Co. SA and Ethniki Insurance (Cyprus) Ltd. He worked on the staff of the OECD from 1995 to 2000, and at the International Monetary Fund from 1987 to 1995.
Dr. Mylonas holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics-Economics (Magna cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from Brown University, as well as a Master of Arts and a Ph.D.
in Economics from Princeton University.
