Prior to Fiera, Mr. Brown served as Director of Research and Portfolio Manager at YMG Capital Management where he was responsible for the management of YMG’s Income Trust Funds.
His analytical responsibilities included all income trusts (except Energy and REITs) for the income trust team, and the Health and Consumer sectors for the equity team.
He also served as Director of Research at AlphaQuest Capital Management, Vice President-Corporate Investments at Metlife (Canadian Branch), and Vice President and Director of Research at Dominion Securities.
Mr. Brown received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1973, a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Queen's University in 1966, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from the University of British Columbia in 1964.
