Philip Ammann

Mr. Philip Ammann, CFA, is a Global Thematic Equities Analyst at Vontobel Asset Management AG.
In March 2003, he joined Vontobel Asset Management AG, Zürich, as an analyst responsible for the global sectors' consumed staples and consumed discretionary.
He started his career with the financial training team of the Union Bank of Switzerland in 1993.
Then he transferred to UBS Investment Research two years later.
He handled the equity analysis of US and Canadian companies in various sectors and was Co-Manager for US and Canadian equity tranches for the UBS global fund.
In 1999, he joined Lombard Odier & Cie as Portfolio Manager for the Nutrition Fund.
In 2001, he became Head of the fund.
The fund comprised listed companies in the sectors of Food, Nutrition, and Pharma.
His responsibilities as Portfolio Manager involved actively seeking investment opportunities in Private Equity, particularly in the specialized nutrition segment.
Mr. Ammann graduated from the University of Zurich and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
