Philip J. Carroll

Prior to joining Angeleno Group, Mr. Carroll was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fluor Corporation and the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Shell Oil Company.
Mr. Carroll joined Fluor, based in Aliso Viejo, California, in 1998 and retired in 2002.
Prior to joining Fluor, Mr. Carroll served 37 years with Shell Oil Company, headquartered in Houston.
He joined Shell as a petroleum engineer and held positions in every major division during his career.
He was elected President and Chief Executive Officer of Shell Oil Company in 1993 and retired in 1998.
Active in a variety of professional and civic organizations, Mr. Carroll has served on the boards of American Express Funds, Vulcan Materials Company, Scottish Power, BAE Systems and the Texas Medical Center.
He is a member of the board of the American Air Museum in Britain and the National Petroleum Council, as well as an honorary life member of the American Petroleum Institute.
