Prior to working for Nephila in September 2009, Mr. Garofalo worked as a Software Architect for Gotthard Bank and SG Private Bank implementing various projects associated with Microsoft Sharepoint and Microsoft SQL data warehousing.
Then in 2006, he moved in Intesa SanPaolo Private Bank as a Software Architect.
Mr. Garofalo is a principal role was to analyze and develop solutions for capital markets which including building solutions using Bloomberg, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
In 2008, Mr. Garofalo moved to Bermuda, working as the Software architect and Database administrator for RAM Re Limited working on re-designing their portfolio management and risk management platform.
Mr. Garofalo has a Bachelor Degree in computer science from the University of Science in Florence – Italy and he is a certified Microsoft solution developer / database administrator.
