Sanjiv S. Dhawan

Immediately prior to joining Tano Capital and beginning in 2003, Mr. Dhawan was the founding managing member, General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer of Reliant Development Company, LLC.
a company in the business of financing and developing gaming and other business enterprises for Tribal Nations.
While at Reliant, Mr. Dhawan arranged multiple financings in the range of $3 million to $220 million for various Tribal gaming projects.
From 2004 to 2005, Mr. Dhawan was Vice-President and Corporate Counsel at Connetics Corporation, a publicly traded pharmaceuticals company.
Connectics achieved a market capitalization of over $1.1 billion and raised $200 million in debt financing during his tenure.
From 2002 to 2004 Mr. Dhawan was Of Counsel with the law firm of Manatt Phelps and Phillips LLP where he represented numerous public and private companies in various industries including gaming, technology, and real estate development.
From 2000 to 2002 Mr. Dhawan served as Vice President of business development and General Counsel for two optical networking companies, Akroria Networks, Inc. and OnLight, Inc. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Dhawan was a Senior Associate with the law firms of Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich and Rosati PC and Wise & Shepard, LLP, where he represented over 50 public and private technology companies in all aspects of their business relationships, from private and public equity and debt offerings, to licensing and business development matters.
From 1990 to 1996, Mr. Dhawan served as Senior Counsel with the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., and Chief of the Civil Division of the U.S.
Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Dhawan earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1986 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at Davis in 1990.
