He was in active medical practice in New Haven, Connecticut, as an Internist and Gastroenterologist from 1961 to 1984.
Dr. Milles was Attending Physician of the Yale Medical Center and became Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Yale Medical School and President of the Medical Staff.
He was an Advisor to the Office of Technology Assessment of the US Congress.
He attended Cornell University.
He received an MD from the University of Rochester and post-graduate medical education at Yale Medical Center.
