The firm was founded in 2000 by Jonathan Kolatch and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Redwood Capital Management Holdings LP, itself a subsidiary of Little Mission Creek Corp. Redwood provides advisory services on a discretionary basis to master investment funds and offshore and onshore feeder funds. Additionally, they serve as the investment adviser to a small number of separately managed accounts.
