Shari Jene Burns

Ms. Shari J.
Burns, CFA, is a Managing Director at United Capital Financial Advisers LLC.
With over 30 years of investment management experience, her career has included security trading of equities, corporate, treasury and municipal bond markets; financial analysis of several company and industry groups; and portfolio management of Individual and Trust portfolios, Endowment Funds and Pension Funds.
While with Rainier Bank for over 13 years, she set up the Private Client group, and managed the Personal Asset Management Group from 1987-1990.
Shari was instrumental in starting Private Banking in 1983, creating an Investment Counseling group for Private Banking clients in 1983-1989, and managing pension portfolios and equity common trust funds for the Trust Division from 1978-1982.
She received her undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Washington.
