Steve Florance

Mr. Stephen E.
Florance, CFA, is Director of Research & Strategy at Robertson Stephens Advisors LLC.
He heads the Investment Resource Group and manages the development of the firm’s investment platform, primarily manager due diligence and capital markets research.
He has over a decade of experience in all aspects of investing, due diligence and portfolio management with an emphasis in structuring and analyzing investments in real assets, private equity and hedge funds.
He is responsible for investment work in real assets and also makes contributions across all asset classes in his leadership role.
Mr. Florance was previously employed as a Managing Director by Hall Capital Partners LLC and Vice President by BancBoston Securities, Inc. He received his BA in Classics from Brown University.
