Tanner McDaniel

I joined Pipeline Capital in 2015, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the firm and working closely with founders and teams building the next generation of breakout technology companies.
Prior to joining Pipeline, I helped build an outsourced CFO and fund administration firm for VC/PE groups.
My role with the firm expanded from employee #3 to Manager to Director, where I ultimately was the Head of Growth and Strategic Partnerships, simultaneously acting as CFO for several VC groups.
During my tenure with the firm, I was integral in increasing capital commitments under administration from less than $2B to over $10B, jumping from a handful of clients primarily in the Bay Area to over 175 throughout the world.
Prior to VC, I spent several years in higher education and in state government.
I earned an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho and hold an MBA in Finance and Organizational Leadership from Adams State University in Colorado.
When not working with startups, you’ll likely find me somewhere outside with my wife and kids, quoting obscure movie lines, or cheering for the underdog in just about any sport
