Meyers was a partner in the Patent and Intellectual Property group at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, where he led the firm's life science practice initiative.
He has represented large public corporations, start-up corporations, and educational institutions in the area of biotechnology.
While in private practice, he negotiated and drafted numerous multimillion dollar licensing and collaboration transactions.
He also formulated and implemented the patent strategy for several start-ups that became publicly traded corporations.
His practice also included diligence and technology valuation for venture capital and investment banking firms.
He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Suffolk University Law School, and he obtained his law degree at Northwestern University Law School.
