Prior to joining First Quadrant, Mr. Miller spent 3 ½ years with TSA Capital Manage-ment where he was a portfolio manager on $2.1 billion in option based strategies.
Within this key role with TSA, Mr. Miller's responsibilities included the research, development and trading of option overlay strategies.
From 1988 to 1991, he was manager of investment administration for Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company, supervising the accounting administration of investment portfolios of over $6 billion in assets.
Previously, he spent four years with Young, Smith and Peacock as a specialist in equity-based options strategies.
Mr. Miller received his MBA from California State University-Fullerton in May, 1988 and his BA from the same university in May, 1984.
He was awarded his CFA in June, 1994.
