Vincent Fan

Mr. Fan is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and structuring Capital Z investment opportunities in Asia and monitoring sponsored funds.
Mr. Fan serves on the Board of Directors of Capital Z Asia Advisors, Ltd.
and Finansa Capital, Ltd.
Before joining Capital Z in 2002, Mr. Fan was the Chairman of the Advisory Board of CVC Capital Partners Asia Pacific LP (a US$750 million buyout fund).
Prior to this position, Mr. Fan was Chief Executive Officer of CVC Asia Pacific Ltd., the Chief Executive of Citicorp Capital and Executive Chairman of Citicorp China Investment Management, Ltd., and the manager of the Citicorp Everbright China Fund.
Mr. Fan, who joined Citibank in 1972, has over 29 years of experience in banking, finance and investment, including the positions of Head of the Merchant Banking Group for Citicorp in Asia, Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of American International Assurance Co. Ltd., and Vice President and General Manager of the Royal Bank of Canada for North Asia.
Mr. Fan received a B.A.
in English from the University of Hong Kong and completed the Pacific Rim Bankers Program at Washington State University.
He is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
