Wei Ping Jiang

Dr. Jiang has 20 years experience in high-tech company management, government administration and venture capital investment, with more than 10 years in the field of life sciences.
Dr. Jiang was Co-Founder & Senior Executive Vice President of SCGC.
While at SCGC, she was the General Manager of the International Department, the Managing Director and IC member of the Board of the SCGC-UOB Fund (a JV Fund between SCGC and United Overseas Bank), the Managing Director and IC Member of SZVC-Softbank Fund Management Co., Ltd and Chairwoman of Shenzhen Innovation Center Co., Ltd (a high-tech company incubator JV with Singapore's Temasek Holdings).
Before joining Shenzhen Capital Group, Dr. Jiang was the Director of International Science & Technology Cooperation, Department of Shenzhen Municipal Science & Technology Bureau.
Prior to that, Dr. Jiang was the manager of Hong Kong WEX Medical Instrumentation (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., responsible for R&D, sales and customer training and after-sales services.
Currently, Dr. Jiang is a Council Member of Venture Capital Profession Commission of Science and Technology Financial Promotion Association of China and Deputy Director to Shenzhen Entrepreneur Engineering Association.
Dr. Jiang is also an Adjunct Professor of Harbin Institute of Technology and the Shenzhen Graduate School.
Dr. Jiang graduated as a Medical Doctor from Shanghai Second Medical University, with post-graduate courses at the Guangdong Provincial Cardiovascular Institute.
Dr. Jiang was a visiting scholar at Duke University in 1989 and senior research fellow at the College of Law, Syracuse University in 1998.
Dr. Jiang received her doctorate degree for Management for Business Administration from Honolulu University in the US (2002).
