William D. Robertson

Mr. William D.
Robertson is a Manager-Debt Capital Markets at Guzman & Co. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, he was a Managing Director at HSBC, where he was responsible for corporate, mortgage-backed and international bond trading and Fixed Income research.
He has also served in senior capital markets management roles with Citigroup, PaineWebber, Shearson and E.F.
Hutton.
Mr. Robertson led the MBS trading at E.F Hutton and Loeb Rhoades (Shearson) and assisted in structuring the first CMO for US Homes.
He has served as a consultant to the following organizations: Standard & Poor’s in developing a series of indices measuring credit risk; Master Card in developing consumer spending tracking data as an economic indicator; and, Van Eck Associates where he helped set up one of the first Muni ETFs.
Mr. Robertson is a graduate of the Sorbonne (University of Paris).
He served on the Board of Directors of the Bond Market Association from 1988 to 1991.
He has served on numerous industry committees, including Board Membership of the GNMA Dealers Association and the PSA (SIFMA).
He holds the following FINRA licenses: Series 7 and 24.
