Prior to joining CSIS, he was Director of Research for Kissinger Associates, Inc. He is a Director of the X Prize Foundation, the Center for Global Business Studies at Pennsylvania State University, and the Center for the Study of the Presidency.
Mr. Peterson was a Fellow of The World Economic Forum USA and a Member of the Global Risk Network.
He received a BA degree from Colby College, an MA degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, and an MBA from the Wharton School.
