Shah is Chairman of Anjarium Biosciences AG and Chief Executive Officer & Director at Rocket Pharmaceuticals, Inc., President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at Rocket Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (a subsidiary of Rocket Pharmaceuticals, Inc.). Gaurav D. Shah is also on the board of Talaris Therapeutics, Inc.

In the past Dr. Shah occupied the position of Medical Director for Eli Lilly & Co., Head-Global Clinical Program at Novartis Corp. and Assistant Professor at The Trustees of Columbia University in The City of New York.

Dr. Shah received a doctorate from The Trustees of Columbia University in The City of New York and an undergraduate degree from Harvard College.
