Roobeek is currently the Chairman of the Institute for Sustainable Innovation & Development, Chairman of Stichting Social Finance NL, Director & Owner of MeetingMoreMinds BV, Director & Owner of Open Dialogue BV, and Co-Owner of XL Labs BV.
She is also a Member of CPI Risk Finance & Governance, Member-Supervisory Board of Howaldt & Co. Investmentaktiengesellschaft TGV, and Member-Supervisory Board of ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance N.V., Niederlassung Deutschland.
In the past, she served as Vice Chairman of Stichting Onderzoek Cancer Center Amsterdam and Stichting VUmc, Chairman of National Centre for Science & Technology, and Director of Draka Holding NV and Abbott Healthcare Products BV.
She was also a Professor at Nyenrode Business Universiteit and the University of Amsterdam.
She holds a graduate degree from the University of Amsterdam and a doctorate from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
