Mr. Way joined our equity portfolio management team in January of 2003.
Mr. Way began his career on Wall Street after obtaining a B.S.
Finance from Lehigh University in 1985.
On Wall Street at Morgan Stanley & Co. he did equity statistical arbitrage and commodity cash and carry arbitrage.
After a brief stint as a local on the N.Y.
commodity exchange he returned to his native Bermuda to work in the Treasury Dept of the Bank of Butterfield where he was an Assistant Manager on the FX desk.
In 1994 Mr. Way moved to Refco Bermuda limited where he made option markets in foreign exchange before moving to Oppenheimer Ltd.
Emerging Markets hedge fund as Head Trader.
In 1999 Mr. Way worked for SMN Investment Ltd.
where he was Head Trader/Portfolio Manager for a managed futures fund and a hedge fund, fund of funds.
