Mr. David Turner is Recruiting Consultant at 1st Global Advisors, Inc. He joined 1st Global in April 2011.
Previously, he was vice president, institutional sales for FOLIO Institutional where he was responsible for sales of a proprietary models based trading and custody platform financial advisors, money managers, TPAs and brokers/dealers in a multi-state territory.
Prior to that, he worked for nine years as regional sales director for SEI Investments where he was responsible for new business acquisition, business consulting and relationship management primarily through financial advisors in the Western U.S.
He directly supported advisors in driving asset growth initiatives through direct acquisition of qualified plans (DB, DCIO, 401(k)) and endowments/foundations.
Mr. Turner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and mass communications (emphasis in broadcasting) from Kansas State University.
In addition, he received specialized formal certification as an ERISA paralegal from the Philadelphia Institute for Employee Benefits Training.
He is a Registered Representative holding the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.
