Mr. David Traylor is a Managing Director at Headwaters MB LLC (Private Equity) and a Managing Director at Headwaters MB LLC.

He began his career in the research department at Somatogen, a company pursuing a recombinant blood substitute.
After Somatogen, he led the management of programs at Affymetrix, the leading innovator in microarray technology.
In his most recent positions, he led business development at Atugen and BioSeek.
As a result of his tenure in the industry, he has well-established relationships with the venture capital community and thought leaders in the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.
Mr. Traylor received BA degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Biochemistry in 1988 and an MBA from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1995.
He is also an inventor with two issued U.S.
patents.
