Mr. Msibi started his career in the asset management industry at Old Mutual Investment Group in 1997 where he held senior positions including Executive Director: Marketing and Distribution, Executive Director: Alternative Investments, Corporate Finance Analyst and Portfolio Manager, and Head: Alternative Investments.
His broad experience has given him a deep understanding of investment management, corporate finance and general management in the financial services sector.
In 2009, he joined Alexander Forbes Investments (previously Investment Solutions) as managing director, responsible for R350 billion in AUM as the leading multi-management firm in SA. He is a chartered accountant with a BBusSci, BCom and MSc from the University of Cape Town.
He holds a Program for Management Development Certificate from Harvard Business School and a Certificate of Management (a corporate-customised programme) from London Business School.
