Mr. Choy was most recently was a key member of the Equity Structured Trading Group at HSBC Securities.
His experience includes the mangement and execution of all trading in a number of hedge strategies such as market neutral equity, pairs trading, dividend capture, event driven, as well as index arbitrage.
Prior to joining the EST Group, he held various positions within the treasury group including dealing with foreign exchange, fixed income products and assisting in managing over $1B USD in deposits for HSBC Bank.
Mr. Choy has received his Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and Derivatives Market Specialist (DMS) designations.
He also holds a Honours Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toronto and has received his Certified Hedge Fund Specialist (CHFS) designation.
