Mr. Floyd also has experience in mezzanine and leveraged lending, and was a founding member of Brightwood Capital, in 2011.
Prior to Brightwood, he was a founding member and Director of Trinity Equity Investors, which was formerly known as SG Capital Partners.
Mr. Floyd led the successful spinout and secondary transaction of this portfolio to leading middle market investors in July 2006.
He began his career at Cowen and Company where he worked in both the Healthcare and Technology Investment Banking groups executing corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions for his clients.
Mr. Floyd has served as a board member and board observer for several middle market companies including MC2, ViaWest, Inc. and Ricerca Biosciences.
Mr. Floyd is a graduate of Bentley university where he earned his B.S., magna cum laude, in Economics and Finance in 2001.
