Founded in 1971, Westminster Securities Corp. is a broker/dealer located in New York City with an additional office in Atlanta, Georgia. The firm is a subsidiary of Hudson Securities, Inc. and their ultimate parent is Hudson Holding Corp. (OTC BB: HDHL.OB). Westminster focuses on the energy, alternative energy, natural resources, pharmaceuticals and technology sectors. They also introduce US institutional and high net-worth individual investors to the firm's non-US deals and invite their non-US broker-dealer partners to participate in domestic deals. Westminster often acts as a US agent for private placement or syndication transactions in which a foreign broker-dealer seeks US investors. They can also serve as an intermediary, converting investment funds from US dollars to the local currency of the underlying transaction, enabling funds to be forwarded to the deal account. Westminster is a member of the NASD and the SIPC.
