James R. Thompson

James R.
Thompson is currently the Chairman of the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority and the Chairman of the United HEREIU Public Review.
He also holds positions as a Director at the Chicago Board of Trade, the Japan Society of New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and is a Member of the Illinois Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission.
In the past, Mr. Thompson served as the Co-Chairman of Winston & Strawn LLP from 2012 to 2016.
He was also a Director at FMC Corp.
from 1991 to 2007, Prime Retail, Inc., Sun-Times Media Group, Inc., FMC Technologies, Inc. from 2001 to 2009, and John Bean Technologies Corp.
from 2011 to 2013.
Additionally, he held positions as the Lead Independent Director at Guidehouse, Inc. from 2012 to 2018 and as an Independent Director at MAXIMUS, Inc. from 2001 to 2017.
He served as the Governor of the State of Illinois from 1977 to 1991 and was a Member of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the US.
Mr. Thompson obtained his graduate degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 1959.
