Prior to joining Nicholas Investment Partners in 2006, Mr. Atwell was Head of Trading for American Express Growth Spectrum.
Before American Express, he was a Partner and Head of Global Equity Trading for Nicholas-Applegate, where he also worked closely with portfolio managers on idea generation.
He joined Nicholas-Applegate in 1997 after five years of equity trading experience with AIM/Invesco where he was head of OTC Trading.
Mr. Atwell holds a BS in Finance from the University of Houston.
