Jason V. Lejonvarn

Mr. Jason V.
Lejonvarn is a Strategist at Hermes Investment Management Ltd.
He joined Hermes Fund Managers in July 2009 as a strategist in Hermes Commodities team responsible for driving the commercialisation of Hermes commodity offerings.
Previously he launched BGI’s commodity fund and co-authored its commodity risk premium research.
Mr. Lejonvarn worked at BGI for 5 years initially as a strategist in their solutions team and then as the Head of Portfolio Management for BGI’s fund of hedge fund team, culminating in the launch and success of BGI’s Multi-Strategy Fund.
Prior to this he worked for BARRA in both Berkeley, CA and London for 7.5 years.
His roles ranged from Product Manager, Equity Models to Director of Global Accounts, supporting BARRA’s largest European clients and Europe’s largest asset managers.
Mr. Lejonvarn holds a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Macalester College in St Paul, MN and an MA in Economics from Los Andes University in Bogota, Colombia.
