Jim Ashborn

Jim Ashborn joined Dovetail Public Relations in 2003 as a Media Relations Specialist supporting all Dovetail clients.
He brings over 15 years of media relations experience to his work.
At Dovetail, he has worked with ARIO Data, Aarohi Communications and Topio.
Prior to Dovetail, he worked as a Media Relations Specialist for seven years with The Benjamin Group, BSMG Worldwide and InterPublic Group in Campbell, CA.
Prior to Benjamin, he spent more than a year with Neale-May & Partners in Palo Alto, CA doing media relations.
Prior to entering PR, he was a Radio News Reporter and Anchorman for KXRX-AM in San Jose for 10 years in the 1960's and '70's and served four years in the U.S.
Navy as a Radio Operator.
He holds a BA in Applied Sciences with a Minor in English from San Jose State University.
