John Ellison

Mr. John Ellison is a Senior Associate at Ironwood Investment Counsel LLC.
Mr. Ellison began his career in financial services in 2018.
Prior to joining Ironwood, he worked for his father’s financial advisory firm (John Ellison Advisory Group) as a Paraplanner in which he prepared comprehensive financial and estate plans for clients, built proprietary economic indicator models, and assisted Senior Advisors during client meetings.
He also worked as a tax intern for McCarthy Grittinger Financial Group preparing and submitting client tax returns.
Mr. Ellison holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Finance and minor in Economics and also played collegiate football at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
