John Vizikas

Mr. John Vizikas is an Associate Director & Head of Canada Research at Institutional Shareholder Services, Inc. (Canada).
He is responsible for managing policy development and benchmark Proxy Advisory Service research for approximately 2400 annual and special shareholder meetings at Canadian publicly listed companies.
Prior to joining ISS in 2014, Mr. Vizikas spent eight years as a senior research analyst at GMI Ratings, a corporate governance and ESG ratings and research provider, where he led a group of international research analysts, and worked on special projects such as the CFA Institute’s “Shareowner Rights across the Markets” investors’ manual.
He holds a BA in economics from Hunter College, MBA in financial management, and MS in investment management, both from Pace University.
