DWS Investment GmbH (DWS) is an asset and wealth management firm headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. The firm was founded in 2013 and is a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG (ETR: DBK). DWS Investment GmbH (DWS Investment) is the Frankfurt office of DWS Investment, the wholly-owned asset management subsidiary of Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management Investment GmbH, ultimately held by Deutsche Bank AG (NYSE: DB) in Germany. Formerly known as DWS Deutsche Gesellschaft für Wertpapiersparen mbH, DWS Investment was established in 1956 and operates in western and central Europe, Asia and the Americas. The Frankfurt office manages a range of mutual funds, primarily for private clients. Their funds are distributed through a multi-channel network comprised of the DB group, third-party asset managers, retail and private banks, independent financial advisors and insurance companies.
