Minty is a Portfolio Manager at Mariana Investment Partners LLP.
He has been a proprietary trader and portfolio manager for over 19 years working in both London and New York.
He specializes in global cross-border event driven strategies with a typical time horizon of up to three months.
Prior to joining Mariana, Mr. Minty was a Senior Portfolio Manager with RCM in Bermuda.
In 2006, he co-founded Aldersgate Investment Managers LLP in London, a proprietary trading firm, where he delivered high quality annual returns and was responsible for key operational and structural aspects of the firm.
In 2000, he was part of the founding management team of First New York Securities (FNYS, London), the largest proprietary equity trading firm in the world, where he ran highly profitable trading strategies and was responsible for London operations.
Prior to this he worked for UBS Warburg as an Index Arbitrage trader in Paris.
He holds a Masters’ in Accountancy from Aberdeen University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995.
