Mr. Mark A.
Stone is an Executive Director & Investment Manager at Quilter Cheviot Ltd.
He specializes in managing investment portfolios for charities and private clients at firm’s Birmingham office.
Mr. Stone works closely with clients, charity trustees and advisers and as Head of the Charities Team in Birmingham, he manages a number of local charity accounts.
He has over 30 years’ experience managing investments.
Mr. Stone started his career in the insurance industry and worked at Police Mutual, a large exclusive membership friendly society based in the Midlands.
There he was responsible for building up their in-house investment expertise and managing UK equity portfolios, before becoming Head of Investments in 2001.
Mr. Stone has an extensive knowledge of investment funds and has a regular dialogue with senior fund managers in the industry.
He graduated from Warwick University with a degree in Economics and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments.
He passed the professional insurance qualifications and Investment Management Certificate.
He was awarded the Securities & Investment Institute Diploma.
