Mark Macaluso

Since joining Blackstone in 2002, Mr. Macaluso has assisted the Senior Investment Officer in the management of the group’s fixed income investment portfolio.
Mr. Macaluso focuses primarily on relative value money market strategies in the US, Canada, and Europe by utilizing cash and derivative markets to create low risk structures that capitalize on both relational and directional moves in these markets.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Macaluso was the Treasurer for the New York branch of the National Bank of Canada where he directed the U.S.
dollar funding for the bank’s lending operation and headed a U.S./Canadian fixed-income and derivatives trading group.
Prior to joining National Bank of Canada in 1996, Mr. Macaluso worked as a fixed-income proprietary trader at NatWest and at HSBC Securities.
Mr. Macaluso received a degree from the University of Arizona where he majored in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
Before entering the University of Arizona, Mr. Macaluso spent four years in the U.S.
Army as a Russian Language Specialist.
