The firm was founded in 2001 by Cyril Charlot, Laurent Deltour, Christine Kolb and Emeric Préaubert. On February 2019, Sycomore AM was acquired by Generali Investments Holding SpA. Headquartered in Paris, the firm manages mutual funds and segregated mandates for institutional clients such as private and public pension funds, insurance companies, banks, corporations; and distribution partners including IFAs and fund distribution platforms in France and abroad. Sycomore AM is a socially responsible investor and signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment which integrates ESG into their investment process and manages an SRI fund.

Générali Investments Partners SpA SGR (France) (Générali Investments-France) is the French asset management arm of Générali Investments Partners SpA SGR, ultimately held by Assicurazioni Generali SpA (MIL: G; ADR: ARZGY) in Italy. The firm is headquartered in Paris and was founded in 2018. Générali Investments-France specializes in managing portfolios based on unconstrained strategies focusing on equity and fixed income investments as well as innovative alternative strategies.

Generali Investments Europe SpA SGR (France) (Generali Investments France) is the French division of Generali Investments Europe SGR SpA, the wholly-owned asset management subsidiary of Assicurazioni Generali SpA (MI: G, ADR: ARZGY) in Italy. The firm is located in Paris and provides portfolio management and tactical allocation solutions and services including equities, fixed-income, absolute return or high conviction alpha-driven investments, regional investments (Central and Eastern Europe), theme investments (sustainability, energy) and alternative asset classes such as hedge funds and private equity to private and institutional investors. Etoile Gestion SA (Etoile Gestion) is the wholly-owned asset management subsidiary of Amundi SA, itself a subsidiary of Rue de la Boétie SAS-held Crédit Agricole SA (XP: ACA) in France. Formerly a subsidiary of the federation of mutual banks Groupe Crédit du Nord, Etoile Gestion was created in 1997 and is located in Paris. They manage a number of Sicav and FCP and the UCITS distributed by Crédit du Nord for institutional and corporate clients, financial intermediaries and private individuals. They are a socially responsible investor which incorporates environmental, social and corporate governance considerations in their investments.
