He was Senior Analyst at Prudential Financial for five years where his responsibilities included research, financial analysis, adn equity investment recommendations to institutional investment funds.
He was Director of European Cellular at D2 Privat where he was responsible for operational oversight, strategic guidance and analysis, and financial and business planning for the European AirTouch joint venture company, Mannesmann Mobilfunk, the largest GSM operator in the world.
He was also Director of International Operations at Omnitel where he was responsible for the technical portion of the AirTouch Italian GSM licence.
He was also previously Manager of Advanced Technologies Group at Airtouch for two years where he provided recommendations and assistance to senior management council.
He was Consultant in the Strategic Market Analysis Group of Telecom Finland for two years where he performed assessments of strategies and technologies used by international telecom firms.
There, he also developed a communications services package for international business in the Soviet Union.
Prior positions also include Senior Consultant of Communications at Booz Allen Hamilton, and Telecommunications Project Manager with Voice of America.
Mr. Peterson holds a Masters of Business Administration from Duke University, earned in 1992.
He also holds a Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Bachelors of Art degree in European History both from Stanford University, earned in 1987.
