Priyanka Kishore

Ms. Priyanka Kishore is FX Strategist at Standard Chartered Securities (India) Ltd.
She focuses on the short- and medium-term views for South Asian currencies and provides FX strategies for external and internal stakeholders of Standard Chartered.
Ms. Kishore's area of expertise is South Asia.
She provides FX research and strategies on South Asian currencies to corporates, real money funds and leverage funds, as well as Standard Chartered’s internal stakeholders.
In addition, Ms. Kishore focuses on macroeconomic and FX developments in G10 markets.
She travels extensively, particularly within South Asia, to meet the bank’s key corporate and investor clients.
Ms. Kishore also shares her insights on FX developments with South Asian central banks.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank in 2008, she was a Currency Economist for ICICI Bank, initially focusing on G7 currencies and then heading up a team covering Emerging Markets.
Ms. Kishore started her career as a Business Analyst for GE Capital International Services (GECIS).
Ms. Kishore graduated from the Lady Shri Ram College for Women with a degree in Economics (Hons); she holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.
